Setup a new domain for Campaign

Email authentication is a great way to vastly improve the response rate and therefore total feedback collected. This involves sending emails using the name of your company instead of sending via Feedier.

Feedier uses Sendgrid as the third party to send emails

Setup

  1. Choose a domain → e.g. @satisfaction.acme.com for emails

We recommend to use a sub-domain e.g. @satisfaction.apple.com. If you are using your main domain to send emails from Feedier for example companyname.com, there will be a risk that the security team won’t accept the domain or that the people who receive the survey might be confused.

2. Go to Surveys > Options > Email and then

  • Set the Custom sender email

  • Click “Get verification status“

3. Click Authenticate domain

4. You will have access to the 3 CNAME DNS records that have to be added by your Domain Administrator

5. Once added, click “Get verification status” again and it should be good to go
