The user connecting Facebook to Feedier needs to have an adminsitrator access to the Facebook page and to the “Meta portfolio” associated with it. The Facebook page needs to be a business type page.
Which data from Facebook is imported ?
The goal of this guide is to set up Facebook as a feedback import source to import in Feedier:
Facebook mentions to your Organization’s Facebook page
Facebook comments in your Organization’s Facebook page posts
Facebook direct messages to your Organization’s Facebook account
Feedier does not provide inbox capabilities and does not let your users answer comments, mentions or messages from the Dashboard.
Getting started with the Facebook import :
Go to Feedback → Import → “Create a new import”
Click “Facebook“
2. In the Step 2, Import configuration, set the “Facebook Page Username” value with Organization’s Facebook account (do not add the @ character).
You can find it in the URL of Facebook when visiting your page.
For example: https://www.facebook.com/apple, it’s the “apple“ part of the URL.
3. Automatically create a new Source survey or chose an existing one (for example if you want to use one survey for all your different facebook pages).
💡 We recommend using one source for all your different Facebook pages. So that all your imports are grouped in the platform.
4. Once Steps 3 and 4 completed, you need to click the “Connect“ button with the Facebook branding to give Feedier the right access.
The user that clicks Connect need to have an admin access to your Organization’s Facebook account.
5. Choose your Meta Portfolio
6. Choose the corresponding Facebook page
7. Authorize Feedier
🎊 Validate the connection
The authentification has to be refreshed every 2 months.
